SWIMMING
Plunge into summer excitement at our swimming pool, available from Memorial Day to Labor Day! Seasonal, overnight and month-to-month campers receive complimentary access.
GOLF CART RENTALS
We provide golf cart rentals for your convenience. Contact the office to reserve before your visit. With extensive roadways, it's the fastest way to travel within the resort and to the neighboring campground via our private gated entrance.
DOG PARK
Make sure to check out our latest addition: the brand-new dog park! Now, your furry companions have a dedicated space to roam and play.
ONSITE BOAT STORAGE
4TH OF JULY EVENT
Every year the resort hosts a grand 4th of July celebration party and everyone is invited. Held at our brand new pavillion, all campers make plans to attend this meal and celebrate the day. Everything is paid for by the resort. All you must bring is your appetite, and a desire to have a good time!
PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH
The resort boasts access to a quiet cove with boat launch into Lake James. Many of our guests use the launch for their pontoon and other boats, jet skis, kayaks and canoes. Plus, as a member of the fraternal lodge next door, our campers also have easy access to the deep-water boat launch through our private entrance.
GEM MINING
We offer a unique experience for all ages - gem mining! You can purchase a bucket from our main office and enjoy the thrill of discovering precious gems. Come and explore with us!
Event Pavillion
Our brand new Barefoot Landing Event Pavilion is ready to be put to use this season. Join us for some fun this coming spring and summer. Be sure to check our events calendars for upcoming special events and bands coming to our campground.
FISHING
No stay at Lake James would be complete without some time spent fishing on the shore or by boat. With plenty of large & small mouth bass, brim, sunperch and crappie to catch, you'll not often go unrewarded for your patience!
KAYAKING
Explore Lake James by kayak! Bring your own and launch at our resort's boat ramp. Fish from your kayak and soak in the serene beauty of the lake.
